A teaser shot of the new Hercules DJ controller, to be launched at CES in Las Vegas
Looks like while most manufacturers are waiting till the NAMM show the week after, Hercules has jumped the gun with a brand new DJ controller to be launched at CES in Las Vegas next week (6-9 January).
There are absolutely no details at all apart from what we just told you, and the teaser photo that accompanies this article, but while you might expect them to launch a sound card-less version of the DJ Console 4-Mx, it doesn’t looks from the photo like that’s what it is.
So – what could they be releasing to complement the DJ Console 4-Mx that itself is only just hitting stores now? A higher-end unit than they’ve released before? A replacement for one of their budget models? We’ll just have to wait and see.

lol, im getting pissed at Herc nowadays.. they said the 4-mx will be realased november last year, then now they’re teasing us with a newer controller
[ link ]True, I think the 4-Mx is close though as a few people have already got one.
[ link ]It looks a bit like a newmark mixtrack if you ask me, i’ll bet it’s very similar. i’d love for it to be cheaper.
[ link ]Well as far as i may observe it’s a console with the same jog wheels of the 4-mx (you can see the border) there is 6 buttons to effects/sampler etc…(only 3 buttons and + 3 with a shift button), have 2 buttons (in white) but i can understand for what control it is comparing with other hercules models.
