Video: Reloop Terminal Mix 4 DJ Controller For Serato

Reloop Terminal Mix 4

Big six-inch low-slung jogwheels give the new Reloop Terminal Mix 4 a professional look.

As covered here last week, European pro audio manufacturer Reloop has just announced its latest controller, the Terminal Mix 4, which it is displaying here at NAMM 2012.

It’s the first controller the company has made to work with Serato software, although it is currently only supplied with Serato DJ Intro, which means you can only currently use two of its four channels (as Intro is a two-channel package).

However, as we stated last week, we fully expect this all to change sooner rather that later, as we’re expecting imminent news of an upgrade path for DJ Intro controller users, which would let them move up to Serato ITCH and access the powerful features of Serato’s full strength software.

Having seen the video, what are your thoughts on this controller? Do you believe like us that Serato will soon allow buyers of Intro-powered controllers like this to upgrade in order to unlock all the decks of the hardware? Let us know in the comments!

Hope they offer the upgrade path soon! When do you think they will announce it? since they have a fair number of 4 channel controllers supported now (vestax vci 400, numark n4, this one)

Is this bigger than the S4?
I was thinking about getting the Jockey 3 but don’t know if it’s worth the wait since its in the same price range.
