Yeah details on Behringer’s European release date for their CMD series would be lovely. on that note, if there’s any word from Ableton on Live 9, and finally, although a personal thing, if AKAI have any new Ableton controllers in the works ;)

    Cheers guys.

      • Vic Linkous says:

and you were holding us hostage for more pics too… “we have lots…whats it worth? ” seems to be the part I remember…..

  12. DJ Forced Hand says:

Speaking of Ableton, I’d really like to hear more about D.A.W. integration with DJ software (be it in D.A.W. or in D.J. software). Serato seems to really be pushing “Serato DJ” but they’re kinda’ nebulous about when/if the Bridge will be released for DJ and Native Instruments is really pushing the “Ableton light” angle with its Remix Decks in Traktor. I think it’d be good to get a clear answer regarding ACTUAL in-application integration (like the Bridge on Scratch Live) and not just Synching B.P.M. either, Pitch/Key and “Cue point macro” automation is becoming important too.

  13. Rich Taylor says:

My First BPM, not going till Sunday but still can’t wait might see you there.

    [ link ]
  14. Brian Foster says:

You could tell Behringer to get the darn new DJ gear out already.

They have kind of messed me up for waiting on them. I had to buy some stuff I didn’t really want; just to do a gig. It’s taking them too long.

  15. Bunyip says:

Pop over and say hi to the chaps at DJ Worx maybe? Don’t know what your relationship is like with them, but you and those guys are the two most trusted voices on our culture, in my opinion, so I hope you lads play well together. :-)

  16. Tony says:

Could you report back on some of the seminars please?

    [ link ]
  17. Jesse Jones says:

Can you guys do me a ridiculously big favor? Both Serato and Ableton are supposed to be there and I would like some form of confirmation on if The Bridge for ITCH/Serato DJ is alive or dead (video if possible).

I’m fine if it’s gone, but I want someone from them to acknowledge it being cancelled, an apology at least for those who bought products from them with the expectation that this would come.

    • DJ Forced Hand says:

It’s good to see other people thinking alike. Honestly, with this arms race happening with controllers in every conceivable layout and a seemingly unlimited amount of control options, combined with this huge (and growing) wave of Controllerism, there simply has to be someone out there willing to make DJ apps work with their D.A.W..

  18. MastahDario says:

Would be great to see if the traktor update is coming for non z2 users. Maybe introducing a new concept the the dj tech has come up with.

What fx can I add on with my A&H Xone42 mixer?

    [ link ]
  26. loop says:

if possible yo check if A&H K2 will work with an iPad?

I guess it will need an external charger, but would A&H provide some solution e.g. over the RJ45 port ?

    [ link ]
    • Phil Morse says:

We’re investigating this stuff. If the A&H K2 is “USB class compliant”, it should work with iPad (with camera connection kit).

      [ link ]
  27. Quinton says:

Maybe find out when non F1 controllers will support remix deck mapping in Traktor.

And any cool new toys for ipad mixing :P
