Chauvet DJ just released the Jam Pack Gold, a collection of four lighting effects shrunken down into bite-sized models suited for house parties. It consists of a green laser light, an LED derby light, a strobe / UV light bar, and a mini fog machine, perfect for “back to mine” living room shows and the like. The package contains all the leads and mounting hardware needed to set them up, and even comes with a remote control for use with the effects.
We saw these at Musikmesse 2015, and these mini effects are unique in that they give you a coordinated light show in such a small, cost-effective package that even DJs starting out can afford. While extremely portable, we recommend these for home use (they’re great to use when you stream your DJ sets) and gigs at very small venues – don’t expect them to light an entire bar!
