I'm not really sure of the official title, but I'm trying to get hold of an audio file that I can drop (especially at the start) in my sets, im more thinking podcasts/mixtapes/ internet radio shows than club/gig... you know the '' this podcasts is mixed by DJ'' ..... and probably an imitated vinyl scratch sound or sumink dunce... where do you guys go for personalised dj jingles and ting ? LL
I'll just make them myself with sounds and such I find around the internet. For the actual voice, I'll find a friend with a good voice, and coach him/her to say it exactly the way I want it heard. I did pay experience voice talent Mitch Craig for drops many years ago...but that's because I wanted authentic sounding classic Chicago WBMX style drops.
