Hello everyone! I started DJ'ing a week ago with Virtual DJ and on recommendation from one of my friends who also is a DJ I made the switch to Traktor Pro. I would deffo recommend making the switch to Traktor, even tho it might be a bit scarry at first since it's a bit more complicated. Traktor gives you a lot more options and possibility's! At this moment I don't have anything but my PC + Traktor Pro but I hope to purchase the Numark Mixtrack Pro in the near future. Then I can really get started DJ'ing.
welcome aboard the ddjt community. made the same switch myself from vdj to traktor and love it. i also started out with a numark mixtrack but after 3 months i had already outgrew it and found it necessary to upgrade to keep progressing as a dj. so if your serious about your hobby and taking it to the next level eventually i would highly reccomend getting a more serious controller. if money is an issue i would advise the traktor s2, only 400. probably less if u buy used or refurbished. its also directly integrated with traktor so thats always a plus. if your a boss and money dont mean shit to you, go for the s4. lol, but yeah thats bout 900. something in between would be like the numark n4 or vci 100. dont forget to check out some of my mixes Sent from my LG-V909 using Tapatalk 2
