Hi folks, nice place ya got here! Well done on the forum Phil, very slick. I'm Jon Glover (aka DJ Jon Glover, aka Dirty Deluxe in some projects) based in Maidstone in the UK. I'm a resident jock at a classy club bar called Mu Mu in Maidstone (and some other less classy spots from time to time) playing mainly Funk, Soul, classic RnB and Disco and a smattering of old school Hippity Hop to a discerning crowd. I've played parties, corporate events and clubs since being an underage teen in '95 to date, spanning a whole variety of music (still love my house choons) and in my time I've done most of the do's and plenty of the don'ts of this game we call DJing. I have a day job that interferes with my DJ practice and choon buying but it keeps me looking forward to the weekends. Can't think of anything else I'd rather be doing! Have recently come out of DJ retirement after a short spell of 4 years out of the scene having become a father twice in that time (inc one just this month!) but am back on the decks again and this time I've gone all digital. I'm a Traktor Scratch fan (I take my DVS kit for the club's 1210s), I like my creative controllerism and making the odd custom edits and subtle 're-mixes' of my funkiest tracks for use in my sets. I've been searching for the perfect midi controller for ages (tried Akai drum pads, a Numark NS7 and custom VCI 100. The search continues!). Hey Jon, I'm new too! We're on very different ends of the road though, I'm only just starting out with my DJ'ing! Looks like you had a busy schedule on your hands last year, I can only hope for the same in the years to come for myself
