While reading the Terms & Conditions for Pulselocker, I was curious to know if the following paragraph is a general theme when using subscription based applications such as PL?

"6.3 Initial Subscription Payment. By registering for one of the subscription tiers, you agree that if you do not cancel your subscription before the expiration of your Promotional Trial, you will pay the applicable fees for the tier that you select upon registration. If you do not cancel your subscription prior to the expiration of the Promotional Trial, we will charge your credit card, on your Activation Date, the applicable fees indicated at the time you registered for the subscription."

It appears if you decide to keep PL they will charge your credit card from the date you started the trial period, not after the trial period ends unless you cancel before the trial period ends.

So no one is aware of similar terms with subscription based software/record pools?

Every service I used charges you from the end of the trial. This is something I haven't seen.

Interesting. Thanks for chiming in Steven.

Is anyone else a little "less than impressed" by the music selection offered??? I even checked some tunes that I know from the radio and they don't even sound like originals... more like cheap covers. What gives?

I've browsed around and I'm not impressed either but it is a beta service so I haven't given up on it yet. I'll have to listen to some more items to see how accurate the recordings are.

I use VDJ so I didn't sign up for the beta. Do they have any psytrance?

I just noticed that if you add a song to your locker the price increases by 50 cents. What a scam.
