New
Digital DJ Tips has been given a thorough overhaul – and we’d like you to tell us what you think of your new site in the comments below.

It’s been a long time promised, but today we’ve pushed the button on the biggest single change here at Digital DJ Tips since we launched in March 2010, almost four years ago. This brand new version of the Digital DJ Tips website has been designed to take over from the site that carried us here today, and we’re very proud to finally bring it to you.

So why the change? Well, the old site was slow, didn’t work properly on mobile, was impossible to find anything on… in short, it was creaking under the weight of what we were asking it to do! With 350,000 monthly readers, 70,000 subscribers and 10,000 course owners served from those humble pages, we thought it was time to give it a proper spruce up.

The new site has the 2000+ articles we’ve published over the last four years properly arranged into categories and sub-categories, so you can find exactly what you’re looking for quickly and easily. Try it: Take a dig around. You may be surprised to see what you’ve missed! The new modern design is blazingly fast, mobile responsive and ready for all the stuff we’re working on that will help you to improve your DJing here: Things like an interactive version of our gear guide, better integration of our DJ courses, one easy login for everything.

We now have five full-time team members here, and having a brand new “home” means that together we can provide even more quality editorial, develop more exciting courses, offer you the support you deserve, and bring you more of what you love – whether that’s gear reviews, forum chat, training video, whatever. Anyway – I’ve recorded a quick video explaining this in a bit more detail, and also giving you a get-out clause if you really just wanted things to stay as they were! Watch it here, but read on in any case, because I’ve got a favour to ask.

The important bit…

This is actually the reason for the post (after all, you’d guessed the site was new without me telling you – right?). Because I’d like to ask you a little favour. As I say in the video, although we’ve based the new site closely on what you’ve told us it is that you want, we really do need hear your views on it – what you like, what you don’t like, what you’d like to see in the future… Don’t hold back, because good or not-so-good, we need to know this stuff. Please leave your thoughts in the comments below; we’ll be reading every single one.

• Just like to thank David, Phil and Carl, our web guys, and Steve, Joey and Dottie here at HQ, for all your help over-and-above in getting this site up and running. Much appreciated, team!
