Serato DJ 1.9.4 now works with the latest two controllers for this platform, namely the Mixon 4 from Reloop, and the MC7000 from Denon DJ.

Serato has just released Serato DJ 1.9.4, the latest version of its software, in order to make it compatible with the Denon DJ MC7000 controller and the Reloop Mixon 4 controller. Buyers of both of those brand-new controllers can download the latest version of the software upon purchase in order to get started right away.

About the controllers

The Denon DJ MC7000 is a pro-level four-channel DJ controller designed for DJs who want to mix with software and who also need a standalone mixer as part of their DJ set-up. With four channels, it offers a lot of versatility, and is pitching to the same sector of the market as the Pioneer DDJ-SX2, although adds the standout feature of two USB sockets for easy switchover of DJs.

Meanwhile, the Reloop Mixon 4 is again a pro-level four-channel DJ controller, but this time, it is designed to work not only with Serato DJ software, but with Algoriddim’s djay Pro software too, whether with a MacBook or using iPad. It is the first iPad controller that has a slot to fit the larger iPad Pro, and the first with four channels.
