The Rane Twelve is a controller for Serato DJ that has a 12″ motorised jogwheel that emulates the platter found on a turntable. It was well-received by digital DJs and turntablists when it debuted last year. It’s the first digital DJ controller officially sanctioned by the DMC for championship performance use.

Paired with the Rane Seventy-Two mixer, they make for a formidable DJing set-up that takes the best of what spinning with turntables has to offer (eg kinetics, the physics of playing on a large, moving surface) and puts them into the digital realm.
