They were dusting the window ledges (and hiding their Windows laptops!) over at Algoriddim HQ in Munich yesterday, as Tim Cook paid a visit to see what the company has been up to in the DJ software development world.

Algoriddim head honcho Karim Morsy got the opportunity of standing behind the decks with the Apple CEO “in the middle of the Algoriddim office”, making this perhaps one of the most unusual “Boiler Rooms” ever seen!

We’ve covered Algoriddim and djay software right from the beginning, and we’re thrilled for the whole team over there that they had this experience, which comes on the back of Algoriddim’s news that it is now possible to DJ from your iPad direct from a USB drive.

• I interviewed Karim recently on my Tales From The Dancefloor podcast.
