These are unprecedented times, which is why we just did something we’ve never done before: We’ve made four of our full beginner DJ courses absolutely free. No time limit, no catch.

These courses, which until now have been on sale in our store, are all designed for total newbies. All you need to take one of these courses is truly basic starter DJ gear – the type that can be picked up for very little money. Below we’ve listed each of the courses, with a link to our review of that piece of DJ gear, and an Amazon link for the kit they work with.

That means that you’re now just a relatively cheap online order away from being ready to give DJing a go, and “test the waters” using a genuine Digital DJ Tips course.

It’s a great thing to do if you’re under lockdown, or indeed a parent locked down with kids – give your kids a controller and one of the free courses, and they’ll maybe even be teaching YOU how to DJ soon enough!

This is permanent and there is no time limit or catch – these courses are free forever from now onwards. Let’s make something good out of these times and leave the lockdown with more DJs than we started it with!

The 4 Free Courses

How To DJ With Your Numark DJ2GO2 Touch & DJ2GO2 Controller

Numark’s tiny DJ2GO2 and now DJ2GO2 Touch controllers are small enough to put in a pocket, but – trust us – are powerful enough to DJ on perfectly well. We’ve heard of radio DJs with syndicated mix shows recording DJ sets to play on air with these, on plane trips!

How To DJ With Your Numark Party Mix (Serato Edition) Controller

Numark’s hugely popular Party Mix was a big hit when released with Virtual DJ software (see course below), but was then also released in a Serato version (the most popular DJ software). The Party Mix is a bit bigger than the DJ2GO controllers, and has a built-in light show too – perfect for living room parties.

How To DJ With Your Numark Party Mix (Virtual DJ Edition) Controller

Virtual DJ is the DJ software many mobile, karaoke and video DJs use, and works fine with the Party Mix too. If you want to use this software, this is the version of the course for you, as it is all taught on Virtual DJ rather than Serato (above).

How To DJ With Your Pioneer DDJ-SB Series Controller

The most feature-packed controller in the four here, the DDJ-SB3 (the successor to the DDJ-SB2, which this course was made for – they’re very similar) is a hugely capable “starter” controller, that would be a fine “second” controller too. to keep if you ever upgrade.
