Pioneer DJ has announced a host of new models in its DM Series of desktop monitors.

The DM-50D-BT monitors add Bluetooth functionality to the DM-50D speakers that were released in late 2021 (here’s our DM-50D review), while the new four-inch DM-40D-BT and DM-40D (click here to go to our review and review video) come with or without Bluetooth respectively, and offer an upgrade to the previous DM-40 models, which have been available for several years.

“DJ/producer switch”

A unique selling point of these speakers is a DJ/producer switch that is intended to let you switch between a flatter output for music production, or a bass-heavier sound for rocking out in those DJ practice sessions, using the built-in DSP.
