Got Reloop Decks? Complete The Look With The Reloop Concorde Vibe

Reloop has announced a new high-end turntable cartridge, the Concorde Vibe. Although made by by Ortofon, it is nonetheless branded Reloop, making it a good choice for DJs who own Reloop turntables and want to complete the look.

The blurb assures us that it “comes with an elliptical stylus that allows for greater contact with the record groove, leading to better sound reproduction while minimising record wear.” Apparently too, “The high output level and flat frequency response make this cartridge ideal for club and studio use.”

What’s with the weird shape?

While not the same shape as the more standard headshell / cartridge / needle set-ups, these all-in-one “Concorde” cartridges are popular with both DVS and “real” vinyl DJs as there is no assembly required, and it is easier to determine where the needle will sit on a record’s groove.
