For those of you old enough to remember, “disco lights” used to be a black plywood box with four coloured bulbs in it. These Dotz units from American Audio appear – rather charmingly – to be similar in appearance, albeit metal-clad: Until you turn them on that is. Then the 21st century comes screaming through. With chip-on-board super-bright LEDs providing awesome power, control and differentiation between their myriad colours, the American DJ Dotz units are a lot of brightness for your buck.
