New Rave Documentary Highlights Power Of Music To Unite

YouTube Music has released a short documentary called Lost Club Culture, looking back on the rave scene in the UK in the early 90s. It particularly focuses on the importance of underground clubs, and their ability to unite people from different backgrounds and cultures.

The 13-minute film concentrates on venues in Manchester, Bristol and London, with contributors including A Guy Called Gerald, Alexander Nut, Madam X, Skream and Eclair Fifi.

They share stories of the venues that were important to them personally, such as the Roadhouse in Manchester and London’s Plastic People. Visually, we are treated to lots of previously unseen dancefloor footage from the time.
