Despite it’s age, it’s still a favourite of mine. Bar BBC Radio 2, there’s hardly any commercial radio stations that play it these days… Anyone here a fan, or listen to it occassionly…

I am kinda the same, though have been playing it a fair bit recently. Here in the UK, only BBC Radio 2 plays it bar maybe a couple of other BBC local station’s.

My grandmother used to play it i was a kid on those old 78’s that crackled with age.

Also the late John Peel on Radio 1 used to play the odd one on his evening show which i listened to a lot when i was younger.

Think thats where i got into this kind of music.

I recently did a remix of a Swing track that was a lot of fun… might end up spending more time in that genre.

Well personally I love the classics like Glen Miller, … however playing it out live is very rare, maybe some weddings where some of the older guests really dig it or some “in the mood” for the retro feel, but apart from that very very rare.

Like a few of Glen Millers track’s as well, my all time favorite artist from the big band and swing era has to be Jo Stafford, think it was the film Dennis this was in.
