Thanks to Digital DJ Tips I learned about Mediamonkey about a month ago and have been giving it a test drive. I don’t own or plan to own any Apple products and generally don’t like iTunes – one major reason being my fairly large collection of FLAC that iTunes won’t support. MM does everything I would expect and more… I’m really enjoying using it.

The only problem is not being able to easily sync my smart playlists with Traktor. Well trying to find a solution to this problem imagine my excitement when I stumbled across this forum post:

So far everything has worked as advertised and I’m pretty damn excited as my smart playlists from Mediamonkey now appear in my “iTunes” folder! Hopefully this will make someone else’s day too!

I always just went into my playlist in Mediamonkey and hit Ctrl a then dragged it into my playlist folder in Traktor.  Is there any benefit on downloading that add on?  I don’t see the purpose of doing that can you fell me in? Is this still relevant advice?

Hey, if it works, it works. Or “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”!

However, it seems the add on means you don’t have to manually CTRL-A stuff anymore, but it would do it automatically?

Guess it’d be worth checking it out?

    Greetinx.
