    Hey there 😉
    Here’s my first house mix and first mix ever 😉 Begun interested in virtual Dj about a week ago and bought a Hercules RMX the day before yesterday, so I’m a big “n00b” 😀
    Anyway I wanted to share it to take some criticism and to begin creating my own style 😉

    As always please don’t hate 😉

    By the way, it was done with no headphones, so no cue nor pre-listening 😉

    Hello Pietro :);
    There should be No Haters on this Forum my Friend; only Encouragement :cool:;
    I have listened to your Mix; and Thank You for Sharing the Link :);
    And I have to say; for your First Ever Mix; and Only Owning a DJ Console for 2 Days; I would Recommend you Run Around The Street Waving Your Arms in the Air – as it is Excellent !
    There is a Challenge at the end of your Mix where you have Chosen to include 2/3 Tracks that require you to Radically Change the BPM; but apart from that I give you my Congratulations; and will Look Forward to Future Mixes 🙂 🙂

    Excellent!
    The one tip i give everyone starting out is – Record Record Record…
    Record everything and listen back to it : think how you could have done each transition drop or cut differently, stick to the same tracklist. Get your mix as perfect as you’d like it and then think up another set, and do the same..

    Oh and get some headphones and teach yourself to use them.. even if its only for prelistening to cue points it will make a massive difference

    Yeah… Mixcloud is better for mixes… but for your own productions i still go with soundcloud…

    @U31 thanks, actually that’s what I’m doing It’s 4 or 5 days that i spend something like 3-4 hours recording and listening my mixes;)

    I’ll try Mixcloud ASAP, I also read it in the article in the blog, the one saying not to go only on Soundcloud 😉

    Hi there again…

    i’ve heard your mix, and it is good considering the time you spent on DJ’ing…
    but just one or two things i need to say…
    1- Dont use effects so much and/or use them on the right time
    2- Get some headphones and start using cue points and pre listening to the song you are “puting in”

    i am probably not the best guy to give any advise, so that is just my opinion…

    Take care
