My biggest problem is communication I wish to come back to djing but I don’t know anyone at the moment in EDM scene in London UK I used to play in underground squat parties few years ago and one day I realise I have to stop tripping and start to look at the world from different angle. I have few my good friends but they not a djs or producers so we talk about anything but not about music and industry which I prefer more then anything, so now I juts want to start networking for maybe future projects go for a drink and chat about what we love most MUSIC! If there anyone in the same situation will be great to start from here.

    Thank you for your time:)

    Some quick hits on networking:

-Attend local industry nights (Google ‘Industry Night’ plus your city) and meet people who work in the bar scene.
-Connect with DJs. If you like their stuff when you see them out, buy them a drink, compliment them on their set, ask for their card, maybe help pack up their stuff when done.
-For everyone you meet who is somewhat related to the DJ scene (Photographers, Event Planners, other DJs, bartenders), take one of them out for coffee/lunch/beers at least 2-3 times per month.

People pass business along to people they KNOW. Developing connections with people in and around the Entertainment industry will lead to people calling you to pass gigs along.
