I’ve noticed that audio dropouts in Serato DJ when I’m recording a mix are become more frequent after update to mac OS Sierra. My usb buffer now is set to 10, however when I was using El Capitan, it was set to 5 and no dropouts was noticed ever. The CPU load is way below a half-mark. Usually I turn off bluetooth and WiFi when recording, and still dropouts appear. Maybe its a SSD problem?
My Macbook Air specs are:
Intel Core i5 1.6ghz
Intel HD Graphics 6000
I doubt SSD has something to with it. If anything an SSD has faster access times. What is is then? Good question. I will try give it a try with my MCX8000 and Serato in the next week (holidays!) and hopefully get back to this.
