I was looking for a better and cleaner version of Timex Social Club’s “Rumors” a few months ago and noticed that iTunes/Amazon have them listed under Club Nouveau. I know the two groups were together at some point and were beefing back in the day, but do you know why Rumors isn’t listed under TSC? Just curious.
i have a great copy of rumors if u need it…its 320 kbps and sounds great!
Dub C East 49Participantidk about that…i have mixvibes cross version 2.4.0 and it has 4 deck mixing and it has the same free upgrades, very stable even when u decide to buy the plug in…its still about 100 bucks cheaper and it will not crash but u need to analyze tracks b4 u use it, but u already know that lol basically the same with more or less options
Dub C East 49Participanti agree do not use w8
Dub C East 49Participanti had to switch dj programs, from vdj to mixvibes, this is why…..i use 2 technics and a midi enabled mixer with 2 ortofon concorde om pro s carts and needles right, in vdj serato timecodes actually suck cownutz with a DVS system plus u cannot switch the sample rate which is a huge minus for me, plus when i use timecoded vinyl, i should not have any blips, etc. but vdj has not fixed their timecode engine sand it kills my mixes and live performances, i even cleaned my vinyl 3 times b4 i use the vinyl (alcohol and water which keeps my vinyl dust free….dont ask me why), thats my main thing about vdj, but mixvibes…ahhh man its alot cleaner and simpler!!!!!!!! basically all the same features as vdj BUT HELL OF ALOT CHEAPER!!! EVEN WHEN U BUY THE VIDEO PLUG IN!!!! I PAID JUST UNDER 200 FOR EVERYTHING!! as to vdj….300 with a garbage timecode engine, the vinyl timecode engine is flawless!!!! plus they use a different frequency when using vinyl timecode and they made their timecoded cd as HD! no issues, no blips, no nothing and i can switch sample rates !!!!
Dub C East 49Participantsometimes i use virtual dj’s tagging and sometimes for my albums i use tag & rename version 3.6…it works wonders!!!!! its for pc and mac……

But if anyone has the time (or inclination :)) to Explain to me a little bit about the Benefit of MP3 ID3 Tagging; I would be Very Grateful (as I could/would use it in my Work if I Understood it – and I Don’t);
I Do Understand Metadata (having looked it up); but I still have Traktor Pro 2 on my laptop; and would like to Understand ‘What’ the MP3 ID3 Tagging is actually ‘For’; (and How it My Benefit me Obviously :))
Many Thanksmp3 id tagging was really out there first where u actually HAD to maunally enter all the information in the blanks…..just recently in the last decade metadate took that place…basically its the same thing lol
Dub C East 49Participanthere it is………….also mapped the ch 1 and ch 2 reverse buttons as input selectors
Dub C East 49Participantok coltrane, i aint too far from u…..im in alabama (originally from jersey 201) only 4 hours away and it seems to me they enjoy alot old skool and alot of outkast, scarface etc. i did my first graduation party and everybody enjoyed the set i put on, i played everything, so i got another one in 3 weeks lmaooooo, i have a few partners in the A……thats my next major move………good luck mane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dub C East 49Participanti would ask the people who im djing for what would people like to hear….(I WOULD BE ASKING THEM NOW!!!!!) to have an idea whats going on…..it works for me all the time…u can use the cupid shuffle, the different cha-cha slides, a little atlantic starr, evelyn champainge king, barry white, michael jackson, luther vandross, teddy pendergrass, etc. for the older and yet alot of yung folks like that too! when they get drunk enough 9/10 times they will ask u to get crunk for them so get a playlist of crunk music aka, some future, 2 chainz, rihanna etc.
Dub C East 49Participantwhere exactly are u djing at? in the north…south, midwest etc….
Dub C East 49Participantyeah…i did it but one MAJOR issue……no VU meters..this sucks 🙁 i will post midi mapping in a sec….
