well, that is using it as a soundcard… you tell traktor to use the audio 2 as soundcard and then you have two channels which can be assigned to whatever traktor deck you like.

the audio 2 dj has 2 stereo outputs. so you assign each deck to one of the outputs which then go into the channels of your 2-channel mixer. done.

If you’re not going for timecode control the audio 2 is enough for 2 decks!

There is no way i would permanently delete a choon unless it was rubbish and downloaded / ripped in a moment of insanity or corrupted ( having to delete a corrupted Spooky – Schmoo nearly made me cry :lol )

yeah, I could never do that as well. that is why my Itunes contains about 26.000 Songs which is everything from Hip-Hop to Electro,Dubstep,DnB but then again back to experimental stuff, alternative, rock, pop as well as classic and jazz.

My Traktor Library is lot smaller though then mainly containing the hip-hop, electro, dubstep and dnb stuff.

Bass in ya Face – first, this mix seems really quiet – like the actual file itself not sure what that is about. overall I liked the mix there were a couple of transitions that I felt like the timing was off but not too noticeable. I’ll leave comments on soundcloud as I don’t know the tracklisting off the top of my head.

yeah, thanx for your comments. listened to one of your mixes as well and will comment on them tommorow when I have spare time.

About the file being quiet… yeah, it kinda is. I recorded with a digital recorder in wav 24bit, 48khz. Later then converted in Audacity to Lame MP3 and normalised the file which should usually take care of it being to quiet.

Started out with Vinyl, now use Traktor Scratch Pro 2 with Timecodes and a Kontrol X1 to add that bit of digital trickery that Traktor makes possible.
