    DJ Vintage is correct 🙂
It’s called “lossless”, which means, it doesn’t lose data when compressing, which means, when you decompress the file is identical bit-by-bit to the original. I.e. You don’t lose information, so the quality is the same.

    Hey Daniel,
    Do you mean loop out?
Yeah. I haven’t played with that yet.
Will do that once I get used to the beat view (I switched to it only today)

    Hi,
I am not a pro, but I can share what I’m doing.
First, I use Traktor so I can see the phrases.
    It is really helpful.
AFAIK, techno, tech-house are usually 32 beats phrases (8 bars).
To your question, yes, usually a phrase ends or starts with a drum fill, crash or similar.
So even if you’re not really sure, listen to the change and start counting. You’ll see that after 8 bars you will hear another change.

I use loops of 8 bars a lot. I start the loop in the 2nd deck when the phrase starts in the 1st deck (even w/o volume at all).
Then I can start mixing, being sure I’m in the phrase.

I came upon a good tutorial about it.

It’s good if you use Traktor, which I understand you don’t.

    Hope it helped a bit.

    LOL
    It’s a-lot time consuming.

My trick: immediately after recording save the playlist from Traktor as web page.
Then, I am checking it and writing were I did the transitions.

    Nice set.
I think it’s closer to Techno than to Tech-House.
But it doesn’t really matter 🙂 I liked it.

Can you add the playlist + timings?

    Cheers

    Hey Tord,
    Thanks for the reply.

I agree with what you’re saying. Feedback is important.
For good and “need to improve” (as we like to say at work instead of “bad”) stuff.

Thinking about this once more, I would add another argument why I should upload it.
The main reason I am uploading those sets is to share the music I love with others.
So bad mixes here and there shouldn’t hold me from sharing.

    Hope this question helps others.

    Cheers,

(and I just noticed my typo. I meant feeling, not filling …)
