Tasty looking!
November 11, 2011 at 9:02 pm in reply to: How much time do you spend each week looking for new tracks? #9719Kyle_GParticipantI at least try to devote some time during the week to look for new tracks, the sorting of tracks however has gone by the wayside.
Do you think I could get TLC to come and do an episode of “Hoarders” about my music collection?
Kyle_GParticipantI always thought that was a cool idea, I figured someone else had already done it lol
Kyle_GParticipantMake people dance.
Kyle_GParticipantI have been fighting with this for a while now to be honest and I think now I’m happy with the name I’ve decided on, it’s not something corny like DJsuperawesome or anything like that but it’s still personal and imo unique, the underscore is actually allowed me to be both special and memorable.

1. Wait until she’s utterly and decidedly wasted; help if necessary by offering free drinks.
2. Throw on an extended remix of whatever – 10 minutes or so should be plenty.
3. Nip into the bathroom for a quickie.
4. Tell her you had a great time; promise to call in the morning.
5. Don’t call her in the morning. It’s the DJ way 😎
Hahahaha, love this idea.
Kyle_GParticipantAs someone who is making the transition from DJ to producer I’ve found myself taking fewer and fewer gigs, and the gigs I take have to meet certain criteria for me to consider them, I mean do I really want to drive out to play a gig that I won’t get paid for and only play in front of a handful of people? Or do I want to stay in and work on tunes that may eventually lead me to getting paid a decent amount in front of a bunch of people who are there to see me?
Easy decision for me.
Kyle_GParticipantI very highly recommend this Western Digital passport http://www.amazon.com/Western-Digital-Passport-Essential-Portable/dp/B0041OSQ9S/ref=wl_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=I1Y6TBB0D7TDZU&colid=CVUT1IEXB5OE
It requires only USB power and for less than 100 bucks I get enough space to hold all of my music for dj’ing, samples for my projects, and the projects themselves for ultimate portability.
Kyle_GParticipantThe full track is up! If I can get it to 200 listens I”ll put it up for download.

Quoted for truth.
Kyle_GParticipantI’ve also been wanting to revise my artist bio but I have a hard time writing about myself.
Kyle_GParticipantNot to promote unnecessarily but we’ll be talking about this and many more DJ related things on my weekly radio show on the internet! Instant Request Live! Every Tuesday from 8pm-10pm CST
Tune in here-http://www.mnenergy.com/watch-our-shows/instant-request/
Kyle_GParticipantPhotography!
Kyle_GParticipantIf you aren’t wanting to drop the cash on a Axiom 49 I’d go with the Oxygen 49, if you don’t want that many keys, go with the Axiom 25.
Kyle_GParticipantI’ve actually done something very similar to this, where my friend would plug in an 1/4″ plug into his car and connect it to his Kontrol S4, you can DJ on the go!
