    I’ve definitely fantasized about it. I’ve thought about actually taking the vacation with the purpose of going to a gig.

    Basically, casting a wide net to any place you’d like to hang out for a week, then seeing if you get any bites. If you get a gig about a month out or so, arrange your vacation around it and make it the focal point of your trip. Something like that?

    Man, I’d love to do that a couple times a year. I go crazy if I don’t have some kind of creative work to do on a vacation.

    Thanks for the welcomes, guys!

    There aren’t clubs that play the music specifically, but there are definitely a couple DJ groups that have a handful of hardcore DJs. I’m working on getting in to the community… but it’s kind of an elusive one around here. Most of the clubs in downtown Raleigh are top-40s/house clubs with the occasional DnB/Dubstep show (edgy! -_-). A few of us are looking to change that…
