So, I have been a Vinyl DJ, CD DJ, MP3 DJ and currently a Rekordbox DJ with a controller.
I remember when Final Scratch came out, it was interesting and getting me sentimental at the same time since.. well when you go vinyl you don’t go back.
However, I am really new with this DVS thing and I heard that Rekordbox now support DVS with their new PLX-series.

My question is this: I have Rekordbox DJ (License) with a DDJ-RX. If I would buy myself a pair of PLX-500 (and the essentials), would I be able to use them the same as I use the controller to DJ with songs in the Rekordbox?

Traktor and Serato all have DVS packs, Pioneer has none, that is why I am a bit confused.

    Thanks in advance

Pioneer DVS works in the same way as the others, and of course they have a DVS pack. You can find all the info you need here: https://www.pioneerdj.com/en/product/software/rekordbox-dvs/software/overview/ and here: https://www.pioneerdj.com/en/product/software/rekordbox-dvs/software/related-products/#info

With the DJM-250 and DJM-450 the DVS license is included but you need to get the control vinyl. As you already have the RB DJ license you only need the DVS license to use your computer/RB DJ with any compatible hardware, controllers/mixers/players incl. turntables.
