Wireless scratch system Phase has been delayed yet again. MWM, the company behind the project, cites schedule issues with the production factory as the reason behind the delay, to March 2019. This is the third time that the launch has been delayed (twice in 2018, plus today). The new official worldwide release date is 22 March 2019, with pre-orders being fulfilled in the following days.

Despite a successful world tour showcase and viral videos of DJs including Jazzy Jeff fawning over it, many DJs are wondering out loud can’t help but wonder if Phase will ever be released. It was the star of NAMM Show 2018 and with NAMM 2019 coming up, it will be a year since the wireless timecode system was introduced to the world. DJs who already paid and pre-ordered the unit will rightfully feel (ahem) fazed by the news, but hopefully this is the final delay.
