Happy New Year 2014 Fireworks

For those of you awake enough to be able to read this after hopefully a great night out last night, today I’d like to hold you to account! Yup, I’d like you to publicly write below what you want to achieve in your DJing in 2014. Or to put it another way, when you look back on 2014 in 12 months’ time, what would you like to have done?

One of the best ways to actually achieve something is to “go public” with it, which is why I can guarantee that if you really care about doing something in your DJing this year, writing it below will really help. It could be playing your first gig, getting paid for the first time, learning to scratch, mastering beatmatching manually, working out how to use CDJs… whatever. However big or small, I’d like to know.

(Oh, any by the way, mine is a bit of a weird one. Digital DJ Tips has totally taken over my life as we’ve grown from one to four people and one to seven DJ courses in the past 18 months. Much as I love it, the first casualty of my increased workload has been exercise – and being a marathon runner, that feels wrong! So to benefit my DJing, and more specifically my DJ website and DJ courses, my resolution for 2014 is to go for a run three times a week…)

So share your 2014 resolution below! As I say, nothing too big or small. Often small ones are best, because you’re more likely to do them. Oh, and finally, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
