Native Instruments’ latest Traktor Kontrol S5 controller is now on sale and available for purchase in-store as well as online through the NI Store. The Traktor Kontrol S5 is a four-channel controller that ships with Traktor Pro 2, and is compatible with Native Instruments’ Stems, a multi-channel audio file format.
We saw the Traktor Kontrol S5 firsthand at BPM 2015, and while it lacks individual Stems faders per deck, and omits standalone mixer capability, it is more portable and of course cheaper than its bigger brother, the Traktor Kontrol S8.
