    Thank you, I am here to learn so I appreciate the feedback. Understand the comment of no energy flow in the set but not sure what you mean by fake with regard to transitions. Can you elaborate?

    Working on more mixes and was hoping someone can give me their opinion. I got myself a numark idjlive 2 to start and hacked the mapping to add looping but haven’t tested it out yet. The link is above.

    I joined digitalmusicpool.com as someone suggested earlier and found it to be great. Calculating the number of downloads I have made versus an average cost, I would have spent hundreds more than the $15 bucks I spent. Well worth the deal. I have not checked or tried beatports. In fact I have never tried Itunes either and everyone seems to swear by it. What is the average cost of a track on there? And what are the benefits of/drawbacks as opposed to a DJ pool?

    That is only because of the Traktor DJ version that is on the IPad right? If you instead were using a laptop, tracktor would be able to use any tracks you got from any site correct?

    I talked to my 13 year old and agreed that upon feeling comfortable with the starter controller I get, I will upgrade and he can get my starter one. Hopefully he does take to it as I would rather have him spinning than playing video games. I explained to him that at his age I was starting to mix with my old pyramid mixer/technics setup and making a nice chunk of change doing house parties. His eyes glazed over when I said that!

    I was only able to play the instrumental version and from what I heard I enjoyed it. It is very reminiscent of an Industrial track that Trent Reznor would do.

    The desire to do it and the perseverance to keep on at it. As Jason Nesmith says, “Never give up, never surrender!”

    Or “King Kong aint got nothing on me!”, “Thats not a knife, this is a knife”, “Life is like a box of chocolates” and other such useful movie quotes.

    So keep going, no matter what and do what you love best. Or as one more movie quote would say, “Run Forrest, RUN!”
