The VCI really has some hard teething troubles, if you know what I mean.

I`m about to send my VCI back and getting a S4 or a DDJ-T1 instead or maybe a cheaper controller, I don`t know. But when I bought the VCI controller I mentioned I bought a controller for controllerism with works with low latencys and high compatibility and which is totally mappable. But there are some really big issues with that one (some LED`S aren´t mappable, the power supply plug is piece of crap and switches the VCI on and off all the time and last but not least the driver issues, which making this gear unuseable for windows user). So the S4 is a very well known pro-controller with all good reputaions. In case of VCI-400 vs. S4… You definitly should choose the S4.

Maybe after i get my S4 i can custom build a casing for it… IN METALLL! that should have been NI concern…

That is the insight i need… Thank you very much Goomo… I dream about something like an S4 inside the Case of a -vci400 if you get what i am trying to picture here.. i never had contact with none but the S4 looks great and the layout is very charming but the VCI looks more professional, and not the “oh look, the guy has X controller he is professional”.
I imagine that the VCI feels more Sturdy than the S4. can you verify that to me?

Your recommendation is very welcome, but (there is always a but =) i don’t really diefor the cramped design of the MC3000 or MC6000.

I am a bit messy and i need the controler to help me a bit with the workflow and those two aren’t what i look for.
Anyway thanks for being positive and showing me other solutions for my problem that otherwise i might have surpassed.
