Native Instruments just announced Komplete Audio 6, the most powerful model in its Komplete Audio interface line for DJ/producers. It sits at the heart of your home production set-up where you can connect your microphones, synths and other line devices, along with monitors and headphones. It’s also USB bus powered, so that means you can take it with you for gigging or recording your performances.

It comes with two combo XLR mic / line inputs, two 1/4″ line inputs, and SPDIF inputs, four 1/4″ outputs with CV/gate control for synths, SPDIF outputs, Midi In / Out jacks, two pairs of 1/4″ headphone outputs, plus a USB socket for connecting to your laptop.

The original Komplete Audio 6 was a rugged interface meant to be used onstage and on the road, but it’s an ageing unit that was introduced back in 2011. This update looks slick (like the rest of the revised Komplete Audio line) and could be a solid solution for those looking for an interface for live electronic music performances. Watch out for our review of it soon.
