well, so far I do all my own midi mapping and fx combinations (naturally, coming from ableton)
and I like to use loops and do live mashups and remixes. now I wouldn’t necessarily be doing these every friday at the club, but I like to have the flexibility.
one of the reasons I want the vci-400.. I don’t want something that just plugs in and maps itself to a dj program and that’s it,, I want to have fun with it and DIY a bit. so liek as long as the jogs sync up properly and sound comes thru and I can map everything else… I’m good. this being said would you still recommend against the vestax? will it just stop being supported alltogether at some point? or are we more worried about support for new features and auto-mapping stuff?
