    Excellent stuff.

    I will have a look at the DDJ SX2.
    My CDJ buddy can bolt his players onto this and I can do the same with the SL1210’s so it could be the best option for us. I may buy a triangle for the iPad lad as the blend of his mixes aren’t the best but we’ve all got to start somewhere.

    I will get him to have a look at your 4 step video guide on how to Mix.

    Thats really great help guys. I appreciate all your comments.

    What would be the advantages in buying the SZ and not the SX2?

    I know that the SZ has the ability to plug in two laptops and I assume that the Mixer element of the DDJ is better than the SX2. Is it worth paying almost double the price to get the SZ instead of the SX2?

    I would appreciate the thoughts/comments from anyone that has used both.

    Thanks for the prompt reply. Very helpful.

    I did have had a look at the Pioneer XDJ R1 unit about a year ago as it has CD slots and gives me the ability to plug in my 1210’s but is only a two channel mixer. The Pioneers seem to be pre loaded with Serarto and not Traktor so if I was going to go down the DVS route with a Pioneer DDJ Controller, is it best to use the Rane Serarto SL2/3/4 and not the Traktor A10 for ease of use?
