Congrats! You can upload it to mix cloud, they have unlimited upload sizes. It may take a while but it may be worthwhile! Good job

Sorry I’m a bit late in replying, only joined today so therefore only just saw this!

Definitely record your set. If you’re playing a house party then it’s obviously a very personal night you’re doing. No doubt you’ll be DJing for a lot of your friends. By recording your set, not only can you listen back but you can also send copies of the mix to your friends. That way you can generate some hype and get more people wanting to do your night.
    Hope it went well!

Through my experience I’ve used both Virtual DJ and Traktor Pro.

Both have their advantages, and both you can try before you buy.

Virtual DJ is much simpler. This is how I started DJing at a pretty young age.

Traktor is more complicated but a much better application. I personally think it’s more professional and, depending on your Controller/What decks you’re using, I think Traktor integrates better.

Ps, if you have the money, get the Mac. Again, having used both, my macbook is so much better. But then again, my PC was pretty cheap.. The mac is an investment though. I look forward to having mine for another 5 years.
