just a quick question, how do you use your iPad for DJing?

(I’m not bragging, I’m just saying that I have options, yet choose the 4dj) Having the screen on the device is just sooo much better than a laptop screen which I have to look up at. I also run a line level source into the mic input and it sounds very good, and I can record that input along with the system sound. The beautiful bit about the scs4dj is that you can run a phone or tablet into that mic input and have a 3 or 4 deck controller, particularly nice with an iPad app with bpm, fx, and loops, like DJay.

yeah ive seen your videos, its a nice controller but I really like the big screen of the laptop, you should sell me one of your controllers gathering dust for cheap! im in need for one haha

TStef, post: 8408 wrote: Well, depends how much ur gonna spend on the thing – i dunno how much your iPhone is worth. But at full price I would definitely NOT recommend the iDJ3. It’s just a Mixtrack Pro with an iPod dock. You can’t mix from the iPod’s library or anything like that. To me it has zero utility and so the extra price is not justified.

Otherwise, it feels exactly like a Mixtrack Pro. So if you’re not bothered by the dock and you can get it for a good price, then go for it.

Before that, make sure you have a decent laptop/desktop PC to be able to run DJ software without problems.

So how much are you going to get it for (with the other things)?

Ok so I think im buying it, my thoughts always were on the mixtrack pro so I think its cool , my iPhone here is valued at 350$ more or less and the package with the controller, headphones and the laser pack is $330 kind of, btw im using a white macbook but I dont know if its good or bad… thanks for the advice

ok then , ill wait for the mixtrack pro, thanks!
