Is it possible to map the VCI-300 with Traktor?

White 13″ MacBook , late 2007 , favorite thing: color hehe, least favourite: battery, something’s wrong with it and only lasts like 1 hour or so, maybe I have to replace it.

I’ve been using this a lot to try and gain exposure in new markets (currently battling people in Syria, Miami, Detroit) and get my name out there. I’d recommend everyone to do the same, hell it’s FREE! Do start a battle all you do is create a DJ Profile, go to the users tab, find another DJ and click Battle Me on his/her page.

They also have been kicking off some Remix Comps and looks like the site is going global soon (map just updated).

Oustide of that I had an email from DJzip.com , might be worth looking into for a record pool.

cool site, just voted for you in your battle against Kenneth Klas.
btw, awesome mix! Liked it a lot. Good luck!

earmilk.com , just discovered last week and it’s awesome, love the Artist Remixed section, where you’ll find the coolest remixes of a certain artist and The Club, the best place to find commercial house week by week, it also has Mashup Mondays and other great stuff, all downloadable by just right-clicking “save link as”

That with soundcloud and hype machine are the sites I’m currently visiting frequently.

I have been mixing various forms of electronic music for 15+ years but only started scratching a month or so ago. Right now I am at least off the starting mark in so much as people don’t look to immediately kill themselves when I scratch but I certainly wouldn’t take it into a live environment yet (these suicide dodging types have seen a video or two).

As for whether you can scratch on X, Y or Z it all comes down to the ultimate sound you can deliver. I use decks and timecode and some will tell you that it doesn’t sound “real enough” (i mostly disagree). Different systems reproduce tones differently so whether your current setup is up to it can only be determined by ear. If possible, try a side-by-side comparison and see how digital your unit’s sound is versus pure-play vinyl.

If you want to scratch, scratch! Also, check Dj Angelo’s tutorials on YT. I subscribe to the Qbert Skratch U but frankly, many of Dj Angelo’s videos are more helpful.

just suscribed to Dj Angelo’s channel, the tutorials are veery cool , actually my real name is Angelo too, haha

This track which beat part start at 4:33, is really not fit in the concept. After that the Nighriders also not grip. And the scratching, sometimes is good, but sometimes is too much.
    (my subjective opinion 🙂 )

thanks! you’re right , i’ll work that out.

Hi, if its possible, can you change it for me too? I just realized in the past few weeks that my name really sucks (its too long and really not that impressive) so i’ve changed it, hope it can be changed so I can use the forum with a cool name, thanks!

You want Kesha? Guess what. I hate Kesha. What’s that electro-house remix? Guess what. I’m playing Kesha tonight!

    Kudos to that!

yeah its now working properly! thanks for the help, just a question, what can you plug into the 2 usb ports it has in the front? I know you can connect the scs.d but it says I can connect other stuff…

I finally could use traktor! with only some problems… the EQs on the right deck are wrong (high and mids) instead they control the filter, in the left deck on vinyl mode it starts scratching alone and not letting the song to play… i think its the preset I chose, it says LE SCS3 V1.00 … maybe I have to choose another? because the others are for dual or just the scs.3
