    Think you misunderstood me. What i was meaning was ive been thinking about going for a mackie active speaker, mackie thump is what i had in mind. I know the mackie studio monitors i have are excellent and evryone that comes to my house for a mix comments otn good the sound from them is. So like i say mackie thump is what i have in mind now.

    Thanks for the reply. Still not totally decided what im going for yet. The pub i will be playing in has a dj booth in the corner, just need to plug decks and monitor in and im good to go. I’m swaying towards a mackie monitor as have a pair of mackie studio monitors for practice at home. Had 2 pairs of krks before that and in my opinion the mackies blow them away for sound quality.

    Thanks for the the replies. I mix in my bedroom as its furthest away from my neighbours, the room is 12 x 14 ft and 8ft high. Have had a few in mind and have been reading quite a lot of reviewa. Starting to narrow it down now. Between Mackie mr5’s , JBL LSR305 and the 1’s are im favouring which are the presonus eris er5’s.
