I started in the late 70’s and early 80’s so I a;ways got the 12″ records. sometimes 2 of them so if the floor is really r going with a tune I could mix it against itself — petshopboys comes to mind an der kommisar- I think I had 5 vynils in various languages that if the crowd grooved on it I would use them all and eat up a 15-20 minute set — it used to be common for the pool I was in to have thursday nr a mix and pickup day and if there was enough we could get two copies of the same track
