Thanks for the info. I’m willing to spend as much time as required for promo and marketing, but I have no idea where to start. The link you gave me was really helpful and I’ve downloaded the pdf copy of the book to read.
As of now, the only place I’ve been promoting is FB, twitter, forums and my contacts [which are a lot 🙂 ]
I would really appreciate any help you can give me.

I just noticed: when I search for “Sonically Pure”[my podcast] on Google, the first thing that shows is my forum post about it, and not my website page. All on DDJT 🙁ParticipantAre you serious? They actually PAY MONEY?!?
Well, that is enough to get the thought of being on top of Google out of my mind because I am not in any position to WASTE money on online promo. I’m a musician, not a marketing professional with enough finances.
But seriously? They pay money? That is hilarious!

I use MixVibes Cross, as Vintage said, there are reviews on this site. I don’t have any experience with DJAY and if you are looking for a free app, then I guess you’d already be familiar with DJ Studio.

ParticipantI haven’t taken up any of this site’s courses, but judging from the time gap, the fixed season to sign up [as with scratching for controller DJs] and the instant filling up, I assume there must be quite a lot of effort and time put in those courses, no doubt the course will be pretty interactive.
The Masterclass is one the courses which I’ve never been able to hear a thing about, but the way I read the testimonials and the time that has passed since the opening of the course, I think it must be their best course of all.
ParticipantI’ve used it live and the audio output wasn’t as perfect as the controller itself. It just wasn’t loud enough.
I can’t be too sure about it, and the fault may also have lied with the PA system but, I just wasn’t able to get a loud enough signal from it.
Would love to hear a solution for this..

ParticipantAnd lo behold! I have made it almost to 500 FB likes!
My aim was 1000 likes by 2016, but I guess I should revise the aim of mine. So, judging from the methods that I’m now using, I estimate a rough 50000 by December.
As a token of appreciation for those who’ve supported me so far, I’ve promised to start my radioshow/podcast the moment I hit 500. And I’ll update the podcast on a weekly basis.
Maybe, this year, I’ll actually make it by and large, who knows 🙂
ParticipantI don’t think the MIDI abilities in Serato allow you to do this, but you can check out TouchOSC. It’s a great controller app that can transmit MIDI messages over WiFi networks. You can make your custom controller for your tablet and stuff [like I’ve done] and use it with about anything that supports MIDI.
The only problem is setting it up, though well worth the time. Here’s a link to the TouchOSC website for more info: http://hexler.net/software/touchosc
