    You just gained a new subscriber. Trance has always been my seen, a little electro house but mainly trance. Past few months though i have been leaning more and more towards techno. I know exactly what you mean about searching online for techno. The tunes in your mix are what im actually looking for but never show up in search results. I even find it hard to source good tracks like these from popular download sites. Anyways i absolutely love this mix. Got your tracklist from youtube so i can expand my library. Beautiful transitions and good energy levels throughout. So sick and tired of build ups – drops – build ups – drops. Etc.
    You seem to know this genre well and i know i can def learn from you. Great flow throughout.

    After another browse on the apple store i can get a macbook air with
    Core i7
    8gb ram
    512ssd
    2.2GHz
    For the same price as the Pro i was looking at earlier.

    Next months payday cant come quick enough

    Yes i5 is a minimum requirment from what ive read.

    Ok, i read the specs wrong. Its says USB TYPE C (Thunderbolt 3) ×2 ports.

    Ive now found one with 2.0GHz boosted to 3.1GHz. Would this be a vast improvement on the 1.6GHz

    As for the operating system i just wasn’t sure about the Sierras and the El capitans but i guess from your reply that they all fall into the OS system so all should be well

    I think the S2 paired with the F1 from Native Instruments is a great setup for the home dj. Not too pricey to get started and great build quality should you ever decide to venture beyond the bedroom.

    Hey Demonick, welcome to the forum. Im pretty new here myself aswell. Great link to the ellaskins tutorials. Ive been watched thousands of his vids. The guy is a legend in my eyes. I think he was one of the first to start making tutorials and has been a massive help to me. Not to take away form digitaldjtips though. Ive only been a member here for a week or two and have already gained so much. Thumbs up to the big guys helping out the little guys!!!

    Have to totally agree with you on the energy levels. There was no progression or build up as the mix went on. I simply threw a few tracks together to work on my mixing and improve my beat matching. Not sure about the cue point issue at 1:38 as the intro track plays for 3:26 before switching to the original track. I have a few tracks in mind for a banging trance mix so hopefully the next upload will have some structure and a definite direction in terms of building the enery levels. Really appreciate your comments buddy. I need to hear from other djs in order to get better so thanks again

    Ive never even thought to mix with the filter before, i only use EQ’s but i can definitely use this to add a few tracks to some mixes that i was having problems with. Cheers guys

    If you’re uploading to soundcloud this is a common problem. Some record labels dont allow their music to be used in this way and because soundcloud allows users to download other users sounds it creates a problem, thats why ur sound is always analysed before its allowed to be posted incase theres some copyright issues. It keeps soundcloud within the parameters of production/copyright laws but its a pain in the ass for people like us. Set yourself up a mixcloud account and make sure you are able to convert your .wav files to mp3 as i think they only allow mp3 file uploads

    Skittles is an awesome name man. Del rey for me or mainly from my friends is because i dont look like your typical irish guy, more of a mediterranean look about me so hopefully it fits well. If i had chosen my nickname i dont think i would get tyoo many gigs if any at all lol

    Medik, you have made my day buddy. Really appreciate the feedback guys. Nice comments like that only make you want to get better. I can imagine how seeing a crowd react live in front of you could become extremely addictive. 🙂

    Thanks shaun, means alot man. yea i checked out ur mix. Good funky beat goin there. The volume kinda dipped abit during the transition so maybe a little more concentration on the fader positions when ur mixing in the new track. Try and get a few more transitions in your next upload but all in all good job. What set up are you using?
