You can cue songs up in VDJ by hitting cue and the hot cue will allow you to be able to start the track from that point.

    David, New DJ soon.

That’s great thanks for your input as it helps me and other new DJs out there, I will buy two <span style=”background-color: #fbfbfb; font-family: arial, Geneva, Tahoma, sans-serif; line-height: 22px;”>Shure PG24/PG58 Wireless Microphone’s and set one on channel say one and the other on channel two.  That then will work for me.</span>

Ok I just been looking at wireless mics and I can see that there is one called the Shure PG24/PG58 Wireless Microphone handheld Transmitter and Diversity Receiver.  I do not know if I buy two of theses mics if you can change channels on one of them.  If not I can use this one as my one and let the party people have the Kam Kwm 1940 Dual mic system.  I am asking this as I am a new DJ just making a shopping list up and would like a good set of wireless mics to use at birthday parties.

    Many Thanks

    David.

Wireless mics you can carry round and allow people to use for singing and for talking about how to play a game.  I am asking for information on theses mics as in are they any good for the job and if anyone has used them before.

Well that is why I am learning from people that know what they are doing as it is a lot of money just to spend then to have the gear go wrong, no thanks, I would like my gear to last so if I buy better gear I can at last keep the old gear as a stand by.  At last when I am learning I can find out what to buy and save money in the long run.

Thanks to all of you that put in some input.

Yes I will as I can use a mic and of course I was going to buy CDjs for CDs as when I buy new cds and I have had a few years I can use CDs, MP3, mics and so on.  I did put down I was going to use a xlr to rca and as Terry said that cable makes it unbalanced and I have read another web site to learn more and the XLR is a balanced cable as it has a ground in it to stop hum getting to the speaker.  So I will go along with that as when I am a pro I can use Balanced cables from the mixed to the speakers.  Plus as I have watch videos on DJing make sure a buy rolls of black tape to put over the cables.

Thanks to all that have help me and do take care.

I had a look at the back of the speakers and I have read this web page about Balanced wiring which I found very helpful as XLR cables are Grounded.  This means that if someone has a mobile phone the signal will not get though.  For anyone new like me how is the information on this link.

    http://www.dplay.com/dv/balance/balance.html

So I feel a XLR cable from a mixer to the speakers will work as the Controller can be fixed to the mixer by rca plugs.  I think this will work.

Once I did try Itunes and I just could not got it to work. I like to store music on it if I can and still download it back to any computer I have. I had a go and when I did it about 2 years ago you need a ipod or ipad, I like to just have computers like desktops and laptops. If I am wrong and you can upload to it by using a computer say a laptop then download to the same laptop or some other computer then I need some help to understand what to do, how to use it, how to upload and download music and anything else. I will have another go at it if you or someone else can help me out.
    Thanks Terry.
