Yes, to small. 2 amps, active crossover and pro speakers like RCF, JBL, EV etc
The dynamic in the music disappear if you press the speakers to hard.
I use Nexo Ls 1500 and Ps15, 142dB 🙂dj flyerMemberWhen you got regular gigs that you get paid for. You´re not a carpenter just because you made some homeimprovements 😉

dj flyerMemberHarder Faster Stronger! Yes, house is finally on the way out…
The crowd don’t wanna get into a tech-house coma,
they want energy, attitude and power!
When I mix from house to dubstep/dirty d/mombathon/breakbeat etc
the crowd allways goes apeshit!January 18, 2012 at 5:19 pm in reply to: First Look at the hot, and sexy Numark iDJPro Controller for iPad #NAMM #12979dj flyerMemberLooks f**ki’n cool! But I never go “apple”……

So I just keep the Behringer BCD3000 in my car. I don’t think the Mixtrack Pro really outshines the BCD3000 by far, only at the jogwheels at least it does there, but in the rest the BCD3000 works just fine, but its old so yeah maybe the mixtrack pro has that advantage, if they bring out another behringer budget controller that is to date, it might be a challenge for the mixtrack budget market. In my opinion at least. I also think Vestax and Reloop if they keep launching amazing controllers at cheap prices, might soon be competition.
Yes, bcd3000 is perfect to stuck under a seat in the car just to be use in case of an emergancy 😉

Ok, sounds great! THX!

I suppose it all depends on the particular gig one would do; certain times can allow and even enhance a performance, depending on the music being played. It’d also give you a distinguishable look and feel, if you are the type of DJ that would play multiple genres, so long as your overall performance is good, I don’t think it’d matter too much. Let your music speak for you, not your attire.
Thanks to whomever mentioned the hydration comment, this mask does get quite hot and irritating, even just wearing it to take a few webcam pics with gets to me from time to time, lol.
Yes, your music is the most important thing, but there is a lot of good dj’s out there and you have to do something to get ahead of the others.
dj flyerMemberWe are artists/performers. No mather how good the set are if you’re a grey “Ivan Boring” lookin’ down on your gear all the time. No one is going to remember you. It was just “good music at that club”.
Wearing a mask is extreem but it works for some. Personaly i love “Dj’s from Mars” 😉
My trick to be seen is to put a cool lighteffect or laserburst on the floor behind me together with a small hazer.
They only see me in siluette but it looks cool and they will notice everything I do.dj flyerMemberFileSpnr, post: 12401, member: 665 wrote: I personally love gimmicks. I don’t love masks, because a mask doesn’t really “theme-ize” your performance, and enhancing your “theme” will give you a remembrance and recognition that has a longer life. My advise is to find a girl to help you pick, not a costume per se, but something more “in the direction” of a costume. Be an artist, not just a dj.
Right on the spot!

Great controllers but it’s only the Denon thats really “Pro” 😉
I use an external mixer instead. Gets me more input/output options and a better mic preamp, the one in Mc6000 doesnt sound all that great.dj flyerMemberThe only thing to remark on Mixtrack Pro is the weak headphone-amlifier. If you’re playing live on a stage and you are near the PA speakers you have to do some serious “wave surfing” ’cause you can’t hear shit in the headphones 😉
dj flyerMemberGot the Denon MC6000 with VDJ. The controller is a standalone mixer too, but if I have to reset the pc I have to reset to controller aswell for them to connect properly.
I use a external analog mixer “Samson MDR6” that I run the MC6000, a mini-laptop and a microphone through.
The mini-pc stands readdy with a mix if something goes to shit and it´s connected to spotify too.dj flyerMemberJust a tip, remember they are for promoting your career, not to impress dj-friends.
Just the nessesary information so people can read it without a magnifier.
And don´t print them at home, it says “I´m not a pro and I don´t make money
playing music”.dj flyerMemberWhy did you change from Mixtrack pro to Bcd3000? I thing the Numark is lightyears better than the behringer.
My back up set is a eee-pc and a mixtrack pro. -
