2Gb ram is OK but the more Ram the better and HDD should be large enough to
contain Mac os + your software (traktor?) and your music……

I run a Macbook Pro 2008 with Intel dualcore 3Gb ram and 500Gb HDD with no issues

sorry buddy. no macs. born and taught pc. but i did find out that my netbook can run virutal dj and all my equipment at top performance. so i think i my have had this whole issue taken care of.

i did take abit more time to mess around with it. i just realized i was catching the loop on the wrong spot. its easier to use the hold function.

that’s adrenaline my friend. it can be a massive inconvinence after a gig. me i ususally wind down with some chillwave music, a nice mixed drink and a good drawing session. but that’s just me.

in reply to: new cheap headphones #16188

My advice is stay away from fashion brands of headphones. i made that mistake with a pair of “Sprayground deejays” sound was ok, but the input cable became unplugged in about a weeks time.

it’s kind of cool but the gryoscope seems a bit silly too me.

    Sony MDR-ZX100

    Good: wonderful sound quality!
Bad: Le cable is too short! 🙁

    Sprayground Dee jays
    Good: wonderful sound quality
Bad: uncomfortable to ware around your neck.

in reply to: DJing with a mask? #12353

To make a name, yes but just be sure to stay hydrated. Prime example: deadmau5 passed out from dehydration at a gig due to the mask.

in reply to: DJing with a mask? #12261

For me it depends on the dj. For me i dont think i could dj with a mask. It just seems akaward. Now say something like goggles could work, but nt a mask.

If you can get legal ownership of the name, then he has to give it up. It doesn’t matter who had it first or who is more popular.

it also helps to make sure you have a good understanding of trademark law or buissness law.

took a couple courses in middle and high school. they helped IMENSSLEY!
