Terry, I haven’t been able to find any mount that will clip to something, other than drum mic mounts.

Chuck, I found that same gooseneck at guitar center:  http://www.guitarcenter.com/Shure-G18-Gooseneck-103397030-i1126533.gc

Are those actually strong enough to hold up a standard cheap dynamic mic?

I wouldn’t mind buying one of the all-in-one gooseneck condensor mics except that they’re expensive, and I don’t have phantom power on my MXR-19.

Good choice on the EV’s, soundwise i liked them almost as much as the Yamaha dxr’s. For my application I was afraid they’d get beat up. Great price on those

Terry have you tested the intimidator series, more specifically the 250? It’s cheaper than the similar inno beam, can set range, super bright & crisp, ability to invert. Seems like the right choice

Ok I think I’m gonna go above my price range and get something that’ll be awesome and last awhile. 2 chauvet intimidator spot LED 250. Haven’t seen a single bad review

I do like the revo 4. Haven’t looked at anything Martin, where’s a good place to find those used? Also thinking about 2 of the spot 150 moving heads so i can have one on each light stand, but thats $800 for just 2 lights that dont seem super bright.

Everybody seems to love 15″ speakers except me.  Coming from a background in acoustics, 10 and 12″ speakers just sound so much better.  Anyways, I have the Yamaha DXR12″ speakers, both of them fit in my trunk with enough room to fit my stands, light stands, light bar, and bag of all cables.  I only have 1 sub, DSR118 and that takes half of my backseat, the other half of the seat is my case for mixer, microphones, and dmx controller.  The single 18″ sub is plenty of bass for a gymnasium size room.

I can fit everything in my ’14 ford fusion.

Very well…then more lights maybe. Or an upgrade from VDJ LE to Pro?

I’ll definitely have to check out audacity thanks!

I use VDJ LE and so dont have all the features. I thought the pro was primarily for the dj who scratches. I do not. Maybe i should invest in pro?

Just an FYI, I bought a dell laptop for $500 and it works fantastic, no problems at all with VDJ.  It has:  i7, 8gb ram, 15″ mon, 1TB, USB 3.0, 3usb slots total, HDMI out, and dvd.  I was originally going to buy a mac or sony for over a $1000 but I’m glad I didn’t since this baby does just fine.  My only complaint is no light up keyboard, I fixed that with a $3 LED clip on light.
