ABSOLUTELY!!! I’ve been (as I call it) INTERNALLY DJ’ing for the last 7 years. I use Serato, which has a wonderful caché of effects. I must admit that internal DJ’ing is NOT EASY! In many ways, I’ve found that you have to be ÜBER precise with your mixing… if you train wreck it’s often way more noticable than with vinyl or with CDJ’s, which you can kind of ‘fudge’. However, I love simply using my laptop! Note: just make sure that you are not hypnotised by your computer screen, and remember to engage with the crowd…
