    Hi Dj Vintage,

i was thinking to buy Hercules Remix 2 Premium Controller which is the same with Hercules Remix 2, but with different layout. It is smaller than VMS4.1 and it has its own carry bag-case! Reviews about Hercules Remix 2 were good enough!
I’m thinking to proceed with this solution since as per your post too, there isn’t any small enough controller that meets the requirements i want.

As for the studio monitors, i just want them for practise at home, so i’m not looking for high-end studio monitors. From a research for low-end studio monitors, i found the below:

    – HERCULES XPS 2.080
    – Alesis Elevate 5
    – Neusonik NE05
    – M-Audio BX5 D2

I think this will be quite good when placed into a small room for practise. What is your opinion?

Your guessing is correct since all the reviews and videos showing that the back/fwd are just for browsing the folders.

So we conclude that there aren’t any dedicate buttons by default in order to search the track. Since LE versions do not allow further mapping that means full version is needed in order to assign some buttons to do the job.

Dj Vintage,i know that any midi can be mapped but this is not my question.

I need to know if MXR series can search a track(forward-backward) out of the box. The reason is that MXR series are coming with Virtual DJ LE and you cannot map anything with LE version.
