The disco era and my adolescence went hand in hand, and I have a lots of memories from our local disco. But one track still is in my favourite playlist and actually never left it:

    Title: Girls
    Artist: Moments & Whatnauts
    Label: Philips
    Genre: Soul, Funk, Disco
    Released: 1975

Where can I edit my profile? And are the old profiles gone?

Well, it is world-storming news, but they are still in experimental stage with mice.
Until there will be a drug for those with tinitus will surely pass a few years, maybe even a decade or two.

I am hooked to Cross since version 2.4, there has grown a real alternative to Traktor and the other big players like VDJ etc.

I expected more. Dunno, its a ‘Core-Version’, maybe there some more to come.
Anyway, waiting for a review from Phil…

    Thx, for all your tips.
I will try the one with destilled water and shampoo first, it sounds the easiest.
When the results are satisfiying that will be it.
Maybe I will try the professional cleaning on those records where the easy cleaning does not work.
And yes, Chuck good point: I dont want to spend the rest of the free-time of the whole year to clean and rip some vinyl.

Okay, I admit, at first I thought this is a joke, but after some investigation I found out that this is dead serious.
Have you really tried this? Anyone?
I dont think I have the guts to put wood glue on my records.

Thx, for those solid tips, I will take them definitely into account for my ‘washing days’ to come.
Just learned that a recordshop nearby offers a Vinyl cleaning service, but 2,50 € per record seems a lot of money. (They use different methods before they do the final cleaning with a Loricraft PRC3) But I guess I will use them for a couple of my most precious 12′ anyway. (Not before testing it with some ‘not so precious’ ones)
Anyone with experience with such a cleaning service?

If you also watch the gallery in the article you get some more detailed information about the DJs.
    For example:

Despite his young age, (he’s only 23), Avicii is one of the most popular and highest earning DJs in the world today. He charges $75,000 for a one hour set and that doesn’t include transportation, food and hotels. He is currently the 6th highest rated on DJ Magazine’s top 100.

I don’t know if those numbers are accurate, but I dont think they just made them up.

I use MP3tag to tag and edit my flac files, it works perfect.
    What I also do sometimes:
    – converting mp3 to wav with Platinum Notes (it can’t create flac directly yet) http://www.platinumnotes.com/
    – convert those wav to flac
    – use MP3Tag to copy the tags from the original mp3-file to the flac-file (works fine with copy and paste via context menu)
